Salem’s historic homes are particularly beautiful by candlelight. No wonder more and more people set aside the first Friday in December to view the Christmas in Salem preview homes, professionally decorated for the holidays! Candlelit houses evoke the past in a unique and lovely way, showcasing the beauty of one of Salem’s outstanding neighborhoods.
Come one, come all! Bring your spouse, significant other, or friends and combine the tour with dinner at one of our participating restaurants!
Present your ticket receipt at any of the featured Friday night homes to receive your program book; the book will serve as your ticket throughout the weekend. Specific houses and addresses will be announced in late November.
*Please note:
- Advance ticket sales close Wednesday, November 30th at 5:00 PM. Tickets may be purchased online (October 15th to November 30th), at selected retail locations, or at Historic Salem’s office.
- As a courtesy to our homeowners and their historic floors, we request that you do not wear high heels.
- Children under six are not allowed unless in a Snugli.
